Coach Jena Anderson and Family
Jena Anderson is the new LHS Cheer Coach. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City. She started dance at the age of 4 and loved to dancing and competing as she grew up. She has been trained in several types of dance including ballet, jazz, and tap. Hip hop had just started into her dance training when she was in the 8th grade. She was a cheer / songleader at Brighton High school for 3 years and was captain of her cheer team. After high school she was a member of the cheer squad at UVU. She has danced in the Miss Utah pageant and has taught and judged dance competitions for many years.
Jena and her husband Ryan are the parents of five children with number six due the first of October.
Jena loves to run and has completed 4 marathons, many half-marathons, and the Ragnar Relay 8 years in a row (except for this year). She enjoys water skiing and being with her family. She loves the girls on the LHS cheer squad and hopes to help provide excitement and support for all of LHS activities.
